When my husband and I decided I'd teach our kids at home instead of sending them to preschool, I thought I had it all figured out. I had the training, the experience, the enthusiasm. So I made schedules. I planned elaborate activities. I bought curriculum after curriculum.
And honestly? It wasn't working.
I was drowning in resources and carrying constant guilt that what I was doing wasn't enough. Then I noticed something that changed everything: my kids do their best learning in about 10 minutes at a time.
That one realization transformed our days. The guilt got quieter. The kids actually started enjoying learning. And I finally felt like I could breathe.
